Beth McGibbon B.A. and NBCT is a dedicated teacher and student of Anusara Yoga and a registered teacher with Yoga Alliance (200 hour level). She has practiced yoga for 15 years. Studying under her mentor, Karen Sprute-Francovich,  Beth began the Anusara Immersion Studies in the fall of 2007 and this summer  completed the Anusara Teacher Training  Program. Beth joyfully shares her love for yoga, learning, and opening to grace with her students.   In addition to teaching yoga, Beth is a full-time high school teacher and cat wrangler. She lives in Spokane with her one husband, two dogs and four cats.

Jenifer Harbour Anusara Inspired, Yoga Alliance Registered  (200 hr level); Radiant Child Yoga Teacher Level 1 and 2.  Jenifer arrived at the practice of Yoga in 2005 and quickly found that for her it is the way to open her heart, develop spiritually, and fully embrace life.  She began her study of Anusara Yoga in 2006 and has been studying with Karen Sprute-Francovich and Patricia Berger.  She recently completed a year long Anusara Immersion and Teacher Training, and is entering into an apprenticeship with Karen Sprute-Francovich. She is eternally grateful to her and to all of her teachers as she shares with her students the lineage of Yoga that was shared with her.  She hopes to honor her teachers through her own teaching. In addition to teaching at Garden street Yoga, Jenifer teaches Yoga in the Kootenai County Juvenile Detention Facility in Coeur d¹Alene and at North Idaho College.  

Karen Sprute-Francovich M.A,. is a Certified Anusara Yoga Instructor & Teacher Trainer, Yoga Alliance Registered Teacher (ERYT-500 hour level), and is a Certified Instructor with the American Oriental Bodywork Therapy Association (AOBTA-CI).  She has practiced yoga for 35 years and taught for 20 years. In addition to her studio classes, she teaches at North Idaho College, leads workshops and retreats, and teaches year-long Immersions and Teacher Training Programs. Karen is is the founder of Garden Street School of Anusara Yoga, a Yoga Alliance Registered School, and is a primary faculty at the Yoga School of Spokane.  In the year ahead, beginning in November 08, Karen will be traveling extensively in India with her 19 year old son and will be entering into a year-long, in-depth study of Yoga Philosophy and meditation practice with Paul Muller Ortega, Ph.D. All of her work is motivated and inspired by the amazing community of practice that is the Garden Street Yoga Kula.  She loves to write and she loves her home which she share with her husband, sons and cat.  

Terri Simmons  Terri Simmons is an Anusara Inspired and Yoga Alliance Registered  (200 hr level) teacher .  She has been teaching yoga for Garden Street Yoga Studio since April of 2006 and for  North Idaho College since August of 2007.  She has been a wholehearted student of Anusara Yoga since the Fall of 2001.   She is currently and continually in the process of working towards becoming an Anusara Certified Teacher, with the wonderful mentoring of Karen Sprute-Francovich.  She believes that Abhyasa (her own steady practice, over time, with devotion) in Anusara Yoga is the most important thing to becoming a great teacher.  Terri weaves many of her own heart-felt life experiences into her class themes to make them fun and constantly growing!!

Thine Bloxham - Yoga Alliance Registered  (200 hr level).  Thine Bloxham came to Anusara Yoga four years ago as the result of a challenge from her daughters.  She soon became aware of the healing and transformative nature of yoga as her arthritis and general health improved.  She attended more and more classes as she grew to love the practice,  IN the Autumn of 2007 she began a year long Anusara Immersion and Teacher Training Program at  Garden Street, which she completed this summer.  She is continuing her Yoga studies and will be teaching Senior's Yoga at North Idaho College as well as at Garden Street.  Thine  is looking forward to this career change after many years in the education field and 20 years in the publishing business.  She hopes to inspire other seniors to start a yoga practice.
